Hello Luvers!
We hope you’ve weathered the storms and are safe and dry. We’re excited to feel that fall chill come back to the air. To celebrate we’ve got a series of outdoor engagements in October and a special book launch/concert in November. We hope to see you there.
We’ve been writing songs at such a fast pace, we really need to get back in the studio. So after the November 7 show, we may hibernate and focus on birthing those recordings. So, if you’re craving some Mayberry Wine, come drink from our loving cup over the next few weeks! Details below ….
Rally in the Valley: Saturday, October 5 from 11am-4pm @ Sautee Nacoochee Cultural Arts Center. FREE!
Bring a chair or blanket and hang out with us in Sautee! Music on the outdoor stage starts at 11am with Cat & the Cradle, a mother/son acoustic duo. At 12pm, we’ll take the stage. Jason Taylor Allen plays at 1pm. We’ll be back at 2:30pm and then Mat Fried will play every song Trump’s been banned from playing at his rallies around 3pm. In-between, you’ll hear from the brave women running against incumbents for local offices in Northeast Georgia. Plus, there’ll be free hotdogs and kids activities.
Fenders Alley: Thursday, Oct. 10 from 6-9pm in Cornelia, GA. FREE!
We're thrilled to announce we'll be playing a three-hour set at this awesome music venue in Northeast Georgia. To make up for the drive: $2 beer specials, a full menu of comfort food, no cover & kids are welcome. And yes, we know it's a school night, but even if you stay until the end, you'll be done by 9! Bring the family and make a night of it! Fenders Alley is at 631 Irving Street, Cornelia, GA. No cover, but if you want to reserve a front row seat, you can reserve a table for $10.
This citywide festival is an all-day celebration of community and sweet, sweet music. We’ll be performing at 190 Indale Avenue from 3-4 pm. We hope you can come out and jam with us!
Book Bird NeuroNet Launch Party with Special Guests Mayberry Wine! November 7, from 6:30 - 8:30 pm in Avondale Estates - $28
We'll be playing a very special set at this celebration of the publication of Kristi's novel NeuroNet. Afterward, Kristi will read from the book, and Steven will interview her about her inspiration, creative process, and more. This will be our last show of the year. The $28 ticket gets you a signed, hardcover copy of NeuroNet (if you already have one, what a great Hannukah/Christmas/Kwanzaa/Festivus present for someone you love!) and access to this intimate, cozy concert/reading event. Please RSVP prior to Nov. 1! The Book Bird is located at 32 N Avondale Rd, Avondale Estates, GA.
While we take a break to record songs and write new ones, you can visit our website to read about the stories behind the songs, see videos from past shows, listen to recordings, and more.
